Hello classmates.

1.  Name and city/state where you live -Sue Hancock Fisher -

        2.  Spouse's name and where he/she was born or went to school - Roger Bates is my significant other right now. My husband passed away over 2yrs. ago.

        3.  How/where did you meet your spouse - I met Roger online one night and we visited via yahoo messenger and he asked to take me to lunch the next day so I agreed to meet him. When he smiled that winning smile he has he had me from the start…lol.

        4.  Your occupation before retirement  I have worked several different jobs but the last 10 yrs or so have been in "retail". The past 5 were at Scheels All Sports in Lincoln Ne. It was a fun job and one thing neat about it well all got to know Larry the Cable guy as he's from Pawnee City Ne. originally and he shopped in Scheels  when we was back in town and also he attends many of the Husker football games.

        5.  Guess you could say it was the "college of domestic engineering"

        6.  Your spouse's occupation before retirement  Roger worked for Nebr. Public Power Dist. for many many yrs.

        7.  Favorite place (city/state) where you have lived and why -  I love Lincoln Ne.  just a great town  to live in.  But now I'm living in the country again about 40 miles east of Lincoln and I love being back out in the country and seeing the wild life around here. There are many many deer and lots of turkeys and of course the racoons and there's a groundhog living in the brush as well.

        8.  How many children, if any -I have a daughter Shelly and her husband Dale and they live in Lincoln, my son Mike and his wife Sara live in Sutherland, Ne.

        9.  Grandchildren?  How many - 5 all grandsons. Shelly has 3 boys, Rob is the oldest and is 23 and in the Army reserves. He spent a yr. at Camp Anacond in Ballad AFB. His unit came home last Dec. 5th and we are so thankful he came home safely. They did lose 2 men from their unit and he was there when the first soldier was killed by an IED.  Rob had some burns on his hands and under his watch as they tried to get the soldier out of the hummer.  Right now he's living in Kimball, Ne. and is working at the oil fields and is also going to police training to be the Dep. Sheriff.  Shellys 17 yr old, Nathan will be Jr. and he shattered his left ankle this summer skate boarding and really did a number on it. After 10 days they were able to operate on his leg and he also had 2 fractures on one of the leg bones so he has a place in his leg with 8 screws which will stay there and 2 screws in the ankle and they will come out later. All in all he had 56 staples in his leg. NOT a pretty site. Brennan the 15 yr. old will be a freshman and is quite the romeo, enough saidlol.  Mike and Sara have 2 boys. Jared graduated in May and will attend UNLK University of NEb. at Kearney this fall. He's been a state wrestler all 4 yrs. of high school and finished 3rd this yrs. Jordan just turned 17 and will be a jr. and also wrestles.

       10.  Special hobbies -  I've enjoyed our riding on the Harley so far this summer and we leave Tues. for Sturgis and then hopefully down to Colo. to ride the Mts. for a couple of days.

       11.  Any other details you care to share - Guess that's it. I get a little carried away when I talk about my grandkids but the are so very special to me.
