     After graduation I attended Bahner School of Cosmetology in Fremont for two years, majoring in Beauty and Barbering courses.

     In 1986 I married Roy Hansen of Tekamah, who was engaged in raising hogs and farming.  We lived on a farm south of Tekamah and I worked for a beautician in Tekamah.  A few years ago, we moved in to Tekamah, but we all missed the country life.  After a few years in town, we bought an acreage and moved back to the country.

     I work at the Tekamah/Herman school as assistant head cook and Roy is working as a diesel mechanic in West Point.  We have three children: Mollie, 20 years old; Sam, an 18 year old Senior;  and Jack, 14, who will be a freshman next fall.
